Shipping Policy
We try and minimise the confusion over shipping by setting our delivery cost at:
- $15.50 for all Australian clients(excluding Christmas trees).
We use Australia Post to deliver decorations Australia wide.
Due to the large size of Christmas trees we have an additional charge for trees. We have tried to minimise this cost and subsidise the delivery fees. The fees below are to capital cities around Australia. The charges are:
Less than 6ft trees - additional $30 charge.
6-6.5ft trees - additional $35 charge
7ft trees - additional $40 charge
7.5ft trees - additional $45 charge
8ft and taller - quote will be required for delivery.
These costs are on top of the $15.50 base delivery fee (eg. buy a 7 foot tree with a $40 additional tree delivery cost, and the total delivery will be $55.50). Trees are sent via an Australia wide courier delivery service.
We reserve the right to increase delivery cost for clients in country Australia, and will confirm any additional delivery cost before the transaction is completed.
We are happy to arrange collection by clients own courier services if they have these services. Trees can also be collected at our Malvern shop.
For overseas clients we will need to calculate the cost and email you details. Any promotions for discount shipping is also only relevant for Australian orders. At this stage, we will only deliver to Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Canada and United States.
Refund Policy We stand by our products (as do our vendors who supply us) and expect you’ll be extremely satisfied with your purchase. If you have a question or issue about a purchase, please email customerservice@mychristmas.com.au and let us know how we can make things right.
We exchange goods if returned within 7 days of receiving your order. The item must be in original packaging and an unaltered condition. Shipping charges are not refundable at any time and any return for exchange should be sent at customer expense. Please contact us first at our customer service email address to arrange details.
Our return policy does not apply if the products have been used, worn or are in any other way not re-saleable. We reserve the right to refuse a return on any product that does not meet these requirements. It is suggested you insure your return package.
Except as provided by law, no warranty or guarantee is given, or liability accepted, for any damage to the product due to external causes, including accidental misuse, or use of the product other than for the manner intended for the product.
Privacy Policy We respect the personal information you provide us and will not loan or sell your information to others. We use your information to process your order and to provide you with a more personalised service. We may send out special offers, or other information from time to time, however, if you do not wish to receive these please email please contact us at customerservice@mychristmas.com.au and we will remove you from our mailing list.
Terms and Conditions
Product Availability:Many of our products are purchased from international suppliers. We may therefore list these items on our web site, but be waiting on stock arrival. In these cases we list the expected availability dates for your consideration. We will hold your order until these items arrive and forward to you. You will receive an email once items arrive confirming expected delivery.
If you would like to purchase a number of items that are yet to arrive, please email us and we can arrange a deposit payment, and full payment upon their arrival.
If listed as available, we endeavour to have your order sent within one week. If there are any unexpected delays you will be contacted before processing with the order.
Payment and Pricing:All our pricing is in Australian dollars and include GST
We accept payment via Mastercard and Visa. We offer a secure shopping environment, however if you are uncomfortable providing credit card details on the internet please phone us and we will happily process your order directly. We also accept direct deposit and Australia Post money order. In the case of direct deposit or money order, products will be sent once funds are cleared.
If payment is not received within 5 working days of placing the order, an email will be sent, and if there is no reply within 2 days, the purchase will be cancelled and items made available for purchase.
Security Policy:We accept payment in a 128-bit SSL encryption for security reasons.
Faulty Goods:If you receive a faulty item, contact us first and then return it with the receipt in its original packaging within 21 days of purchase. Replacement items will be sent if the item is found to be faulty. If we do not have a replacement item we will advise and you may choose an alternative product or arrange a credit.
